The beginning - as a matter of fact we haven't been able to understand the roots of our existence. The Universe seems endless, vast and full of wonders. Even our immediate neighborhood raises one question after another - everyday. Understanding them is a fascinating process which has begun thousands of years ago. Still, it will last even longer. But we are beginning. Understanding things is our gift. Many people are drawn to practice this gift. For my part, understanding is the sense of life. Being part of the Universe is the beginning of the understanding of the Universe itself.

Yet we are only a small part of it of course. But as I said: It's just the beginning. The laws of evolution, order of the strong have, naturally led us to this point. But these laws carry also dangers with them. Evolution might find a stronger less thinking way of life. This would be our end and that of our planet evolving the Universe. Nevertheless, there would be other forms of live that might achieve the great goal. At our current state it seems impossible to understand the whole nature of the Universe. We can capture parts of it in physics, chemistry, biology, philosophy and of course mathematics. But getting a full understanding seems almost impossible.

Speaking of impossibilities, we should be aware that the biggest impossibilities imaginable have yet come true. The wonders of life and mind. It is foolish for a living being to deny that there could be other forms of life evolving among us somewhere, out in the endless possibilities of the Universe. It would be denying ourselves. We are not magic. We are made of the same stuff that stars, planets and rocks are made of. Quantum Mechanics taught us that impossibilities are rather a measurement of lack of the right constellation than simply impossibilities. The impossibility of a cow appearing right behind you is just the lack of the cow in the right place and time to put there. Nevertheless, it isn't directly impossible. More precisely the possibility is very low.

Still a single human mind will not be able to understand. It is the combined power of many scientists, philosophers and thinkers that made us great. The ability to share wisdom. Our greatest achievements in understanding the Universe were made possible by sharing knowledge and developing it further. For that reason, I believe that every knowledge should be free.

The combined power of all 5 billion human minds would catapult us into a new age. The internet gave it a start, a vast network full of every kind of information. But yet our current agenda forbids us to share knowledge for many reasons. The internet is misused to spread false information. Parts of it aren't even free, and most of all: It is limited to those who can afford it. We are blocking our way to paradise because we believe that we found paradise in money, prosperity and private knowledge.

Eternity is within ourselves, not in the form of personal advances, but in global ones. We must become one world, for the sake of humankind, for the sake of our children. Put away your weapons and learn.

Yes, there is a god, a father. It's the Universe and we are part of it. Let there be a new age of peace, understanding, helping each other and give you children the chance to survive the next thousand maybe million years.

For they might become one.

For they might understand.

For they might walk among the stars as brothers.

For they might end the path of suffer.

For they might reach eternity.
